Lauren hung out our junior and senior year at Hampton; we roomed together freshman year at college. We spent a good amount of time together a few years before she died. Lauren was beautiful, kooky and kind. I miss her.
Lauren was the kind of person who was friends with everyone. I only knew her in high school, but I always thought she was sweet and kind and funny. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. I remember I cried when I heard that she had passed away (in a letter from an old high school friend). So sad to have succumb to such a debilitating disease so young. Rest in peace.
