I have many memories of Bob or as we called him Bobby Joe. Playing football in the empty lot behind Crump's house, dating Debbie Grotth, just hanging out in the neighborhood. Those were great times that I will remember about Bob Gilch and not memories of his passing.
I am so very sorry to hear that Bobby Joe is no longer with us. My favorite memory of him was the smile that he gave to me when I gave him a homemade Get Well card after we all fell in a pile on the frozen creek and broke his leg in several places. God bless you Bobby Joe.
