School Story:
I loved the good friends I made at Hampton. I was an "art room Hang out" kid as of teen.
English and reading were also favorite subjects for me. And I loved the French teacher for my last two years at Hampton. And I enjoyed the Photography class i took!
I had many good, kind, and respectful GUY friends. We'd "catch a smoke" outside the front of the school together. Ha.
I enjoyed Mr. Jewell in our library. He passed away last summer.
I remember many teachers I enjoyed and learned much from my Hampton years.
I hated gym class. (But once I moved to Waynesboro...took work-out classes and Yoga for many, many years here, 42 years now, "Rest or Rust"...to relieve STRESS of teaching and high expectations of teaching young children.)
I got caught smoking in the Girl's bathroom once...was suspended three dreamy days...the day before Xmas vaca, and two days after. Ha!
I had two gay guy fiends I truly enjoyed.
I was with Marci Russo at our last HS Reunion and had a GREAT TIME!
I remember my HS years with JOY!
Today....Sorry...I do not "do FB". My sister got me onto my own page. I'd rather be with my husband, READ, Eat well, Exercise, Be behind my Canon Camera, Enjoy a cold beer with many good friends, do my art making.
I appreciate the many who have reached out to ME thru FB...but I won't go there. Again, apologizes, but thanks for your kindness.
I still have all my six siblings, three live in N. Pgh, along with
my age 95.5 MOM in our lives...and just a great community of friends and a sweet home, and my wonderful 19 years-older- husband to be with...one busy life. Living it well.
